Kama is short for "Kamarina", local Sicilian dialect for one of the most ancient Greek colonies found in Sicily. Dating back to 598 AD, the town of Kamarina was located in the southern part of eastern Sicily, a region known as Vittoria. Sicily's number one red grape variety, Nero d'Avola is indigenous to the island. Our Terre di Kama Nero d'Avola has a wonderful structure, yet has soft tannins and is very approachable.
